Think giant displays, exciting carnival games and a special Toy Story-themed light and sound show! We’re not crying, you are.

The toys are back and we couldn’t be happier! With Children’s Festival arriving at Gardens by the Bay this holiday season, we cannot think of a better place to celebrate their return – especially since this year’s festival is all about Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep and the rest of the gang from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4 !

From incredible displays to classic carnival games, and a light and sound show like no other, there is so much to do at the Children’s Festival – and even more to document on your camera roll. To get you started, we rounded up the five things that your camera – and you, of course – will love.

#1: THE GIANT MARBLE TRACK

Twice every hour, a 1.5-metre-wide marble will be sent down a vibrant track that spans approximately 150 metres. Watch it weave through the Supertrees and towering structures inspired by Buzz, Woody and Bo Peep as familiar Toy Story tunes fill the air. Camera at ready!

#2: THE BOBBLE HEAD CAPSULE MACHINE

Can things get any cuter? Why yes, yes, they can. Once you’re done admiring the marble track, gallop on down to the Woody-inspired tower where you’ll find a giant capsule machine that dispenses – wait for it – Woody and Buzz bobble heads! We’ll take five, thanks..

#3: NOTHIN’ LIKE GOOD OL’ CARNIVAL GAMES

Think you’ve got the chops to make it to the top? Strike your winning pose for the ‘gram as you put your carnival gaming skills to the test at three spectacular carnival booths: Jessie’s Ring Capture, Bullseye Rescue and Woody’s Coaster Rescue that also features new character, Forky. And yes, grown-ups can play, too, of course!

#4: CALLING ALL STAR ADVENTURERS!

This is one of those “two birds with one stone” situations. As the kiddos set out to help Buzz set himself free on this thrilling activity under the splendour of the Supertrees, you get to put on your best space ranger face for a pose-off with a Buzz figurine by the Star Adventurer station.

#5: GARDEN RHAPSODY

Behold, the grand finale! As the sun goes down, watch as Gardens by the Bay’s new Garden Rhapsody unfolds through a medley of music from the Toy Story movies. Watch as everyone’s favourite toys appear on fluffy clouds amongst the Supertrees!
